The Mastermind
"Control is the only currency that matters."
The Director believes that collectibles are nothing more than financial instruments. Stories, heritage, sentiment — all irrelevant compared to market value. The Director doesn't collect — they control. Their goal is total manipulation of collectible markets for profit, using the other villains as pawns in a larger scheme.
Cold, calculating, sophisticated. The Director never raises their voice, never gets dirty, never appears at the scene. They communicate through intermediaries and encrypted channels. Respect is demanded through intelligence and results — never fear.
The Director genuinely believes they're HELPING the market by "rationalizing" it. They see collectors as sentimental fools whose emotional attachment creates inefficiency.
Personality: Cold, calculating, sophisticated. Genuinely brilliant strategist who could build something great if they chose creation over control. Philosophical opponent to Atlas — not just a practical one.
